The Influence Of  Teachers Extends Beyond The Classroom, Well Into The Future

On 5th September, 2024, Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the dedication and hard work of the teaching staff. The day was filled with a variety of programmes which included speeches, dances various games and a fashion show by teachers. The celebration was marked by a sense of camaraderie and appreciation for the educators who play a crucial role in shaping students’ future.

The event began with a heartwarming invocation song followed by the welcome address by the school head boy, reflecting the deep appreciation students have for their teachers.

Then followed a series of song & dance performances by our students of all the grades, that echoed in the atmosphere, filling it with zest and enthusiasm. The dances ranged from traditional style to the contemporary ones and were well-received by the audience.

Principal, Smt. Y. Padma Sagar, greeted all the Teachers on this occasion & delivered a heartfelt speech emphasizing the significance of Teachers’ Day that it not only acknowledged the pivotal role teachers play in imparting knowledge but also in inspiring and guiding the students. During the course of her address, principal also appreciated and thanked the students who organised such an excellent program that made teachers feel truly contended for being able to touch the lives of many students through this noble profession. A unique and one of the most entertaining segments of the celebration was the fashion show, where teachers walked the ramp for their students.
