26^th of January 2023 marked the celebration of Republic Day at Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli in all its grandeur.

 Our Chairman, Shri K Harish, the Chief Guest of the day unfurled the National Flag. The general salute was followed by the National Anthem being sung by one and all. The students of Agni house, Akash house, Bhumi house and Vayu house participated in the march past with the true spirit of patriotism. Chairman through his inspirational address, emphasised on the importance of our constitution and how the obeyance to the rules makes us a better citizen.

A variety of programmes were held to mark the occasion such as fancy dress, band display, karate display, yoga display, songs and dances. Special programmes by the house keeping staff and transport staff were the highlights of the day’s celebrations.

The adventurous sports in which the students participated with grit and determination enthralled the audience. It was indeed a spectacular event.
