On 6th February 2024, Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli bid adieu to its graduating classes of Grade 10 and Grade 12 with a heartfelt farewell ceremony, filled with reminiscences, laughter, and tears. The ceremony was a poignant tribute to our departing students for their collective achievements and cherished memories.

The event commenced with a solemn invocation song and dance by the students, followed by the auspicious ceremony of lighting the lamp by all dignitaries and all students. Lighting the lamp signifies the dispelling of darkness and igniting of thought and enlightenment. Then the students took oath to remind the conviction they carry in their hearts and the responsibility on their shoulders.

The atmosphere was charged with emotion as students and teachers alike reminisced about the shared experiences, academic achievements, and personal growth throughout the years through a spectacular display of PPT. A series of speeches by teachers and alumni served as a testament to the bonds formed and
the impact of education beyond the classroom. They expressed their gratitude on behalf of their peers for the guidance and support received from the faculty, staff, and parents. They pledged to carry forward the values instilled in them to make a positive impact on the world. As the event progressed, the stage came alive with the soul-stirring performance of an acclaimed drummer Kum Vanisha Saxena of grade X , who captivated the hearts of the spectators with her performance.

Our visionary Chairman, Shri K Harish, in his address reflected upon the transformational journey of the students and how they need to face the challenges of life and be successful in their personal and professional pursuit.

Smt. Y Padma Sagar, Principal of Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli ,in her message emphasized on focusing on their work by not getting distracted and become great achievers in life.

In conclusion, the farewell ceremony for Grades 10 and 12 was not merely a goodbye, but a celebration of achievements, friendships, and the promise of a bright future.
