The Inauguration of the project “Conserve My Planet” in Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli was held on 27^th October 2022. It saw the enthusiastic participation of students.

Around 100 green ambassadors in the campus took up the mission to spread awareness about energy conservation through efficient energy use and sustainable energy practices.

Chairman Shri K Harish presided over the function. Ms Arti Sharma, Vice President, Human Resource, Schneider Electric- Bangalore was the Guest of Honour. Shri Prashant Shetty, Senior Manager- CSR Schneider Electric India graced the occasion.

Chairman in his inaugural address, spoke about the concern of global warming and the need to conserve energy. The programme aimed at educating youngsters on cost effective and environmentally friendly ways to save energy. The Green Ambassadors were honoured with a green kit. They took the pledge and reiterated their allegiance to the cause, promising to be the torch bearers of the green message.
