Annual Sports Meet was celebrated in all its grandeur at Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli on 23^rd December 2022. The programme was presided by our Chariman, Shri K Harish.

The programme commenced with March Past by the students of all the four houses, Agni, Akash, Bhoomi ,Vayu along with school band. Students participated in the March Past with great enthusiasm.

School Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest which was followed by the Oath Taking ceremony. The Sports Meet was inaugurated by lighting the torch. The torch bearers were the students who were selected to participate in CBSE National Sports Meet.

There was a wonderful display of performances by students of all levels like band, yoga, karate and aerobic performance displaying their instrumental talents.

Our chief guest Shri K Harish addressed the gathering laying emphasis on the need to imbibe qualities of discipline and true sportsmanship.

The chief guest was invited to give away the prizes and honour the prize winners with medals and trophies.

Akash House (Blue house) emerged as the winners of the Overall Championship Trophy. Vayu House (Yellow house) received the runners –up trophy.  Bhoomi House (green house) was awarded the trophy for the best march past and discipline

It was indeed a spectacular event leaving everyone with a sense of achievement and satisfaction.
