In a remarkable display of environmental leadership, students from Vagdevi Vilas School Marathahalli demonstrated exceptional commitment to sustainability at the prestigious Green Championship Program. The event, hosted at Bangalore International Academy School in Whitefield on February 28, 2025, was organized through a collaborative effort between Schneider Electric Foundation India and Sharp NGO.
The school’s participation yielded outstanding results across multiple categories. Most notably, seventh-grade student Akshaya N earned the distinguished Green Champion Award, recognizing her significant contributions to environmental initiatives. This individual achievement was complemented by the school’s collective success in securing the Best School Award, highlighting the Institution’s dedication to fostering eco-conscious practices throughout its community.
The competition showcased the remarkable talents and dedication of multiple students. Our student Kum N.Akshaya’s exceptional performance in the School Championship Award category demonstrated her profound understanding of environmental issues and commitment to sustainable practices. Additionally, Tanishka Thammaiah, another seventh-grade student, received recognition through the Best Booklet Award, showcasing excellence in environmental communication and advocacy.
These achievements represent more than just awards; they symbolize the school’s broader commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability in education.
