Sports Valedictory Ceremony 2024- 25

The Annual Sports Valedictory Ceremony of Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli was held on 20^th December 2024, with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event marked the culmination of a series of sports competitions conducted throughout the Annual Sports Meet, celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence.

The highly anticipated Sports Meet was inaugurated on 25th of November 2024 at the sprawling sports   ground in the campus.

The event was graced by the chief guest Shri. K Harish, honourable Chairman, Vagdevi Vilas Institutions.

The inaugural ceremony commenced with the march past, where participants from the four houses – the Agni, Akash, Vayu and Bhoomi showcased their discipline and coordination, accompanied by the school band. The chief guest received the salute and appreciated the teams for their spirited performance.

The program commenced with the invocation song followed by the welcome address by Smt. Padma   

Sagar, Principal, Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli who delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing

the importance of sports in fostering discipline, resilience, and character.

During his motivational speech, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and perseverance in achieving success both on and off the field.

The performances began with a yoga display by the students of Class 1 to 12 followed by a mass drill      performance by students of Class 2. Students of Class 11 performed a group dance after which the track events commenced. Students across various levels participated in running race and relay race. The audience was captivated by the performances showcasing moments of determination and success on the field.

The main attraction of the ceremony was the prize distribution. Medals, trophies, and certificates were awarded to the winners of various events, recognizing their hard work and dedication.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Sports Vice Captain followed by the National Song.     The Sports Valedictory Event was a grand success, leaving everyone motivated to aim higher and perform better in the future.
