Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated at Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli on 1^st November 2023 in all its grandeur. The day’s proceedings began with a spectacular procession by the School Band team, followed by students dressed in Karnataka’s traditional dance forms which included Kamsale,Yakshagana,Veeragase and many more. The Chief Guest, Shri K Harish , Chairman Of Vagdevi Vilas Institutions  presided over the function.

The flag hoisting and the Nada Geethe were followed by various scintillating cultural performances by students from across the levels. All the performances of the students depicted the rich cultural heritage of Karnataka.

The Chief Guest in his address expressed the beauty of Karnataka and Kannada as a language. He also emphasized the importance of knowing one ‘s mother tongue and celebrating the culture of one’s state.

It was indeed a vibrant and spectacular event leaving everyone with a sense of pride and fulfillment.
