‘Conserve My Planet’ Green Assembly was organized on 13th September 2023 at Vagdevi Vilas School – Marathahalli, where the selected students were inducted into Green Ambassadors

The chief guest of the programme  was Smt Swetha Marruru – Sr. General Manager, Digital Innovation & Technology, Schneider Electric Bangalore and the Guest of Honour was Shri Ranganatha Kumar K A, DGM- Project management, Digital Innovation & Technology, Schneider Electric Bangalore. Shri. Prashant Shetty, Senior Manager- CSR Schneider Electric India graced the occasion along with  CMP coordinator Shri.Hayad from SHARP NGO.

The program started with an invocation song seeking the blessings of the Almighty.

Smt. Sindhu R, Director R & D Department formally welcomed the gathering and threw light upon the vision and objectives of the project CMP – 2023-24.

Green Kits were distributed to the Green Ambassadors by the dignitaries.

The Chief Guest Smt  Swetha Marruru through her inspiring speech encouraged the children to conserve energy not only at school but at home too.

A meaningful cultural program put up by the students added flavor to the day’s event. A power pledge was administered and students, the CMP ambassadors were obligated to be responsible and to carry out the awareness drive with zeal.

Principal Smt.Padma Sagar during her address emphasized upon the urgent need to address environmental issues. She highlighted on the role that schools and students play in shaping a sustainable future.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Sri.Govindan. N, Deputy Director R&D dept.
