Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli observed the 77th Independence Day in true patriotic spirit and in all its grandeur on August 15, 2023.

    The Chief Guest of the day, Smt. K. Leela Padma, Principal, Vagdevi Vilas School, Varthur presided over the function. The event was graced by CEO Kum Shyallet Sabrina Coelho, Principal Smt Y Padma Sagar and other dignitaries.

    In the presence of the august gathering, the Tricolour Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest. All the students took the general salute with great pride.

   Various cultural programmes like group song, speeches by students of Std II & IV and patriotic dances by students of Std VII to XII marked the occasion.

  The Chief Guest, Smt. K Leela Padma in her inspiring speech awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother land. She emphasized all to pay tribute to the indomitable spirit, valor and sacrifices of our freedom fighters and armed forces. 

It was indeed a spectacular event leaving everyone with a feeling of true patriotism and a great sense of pride for being born in this great nation called “Bharat”.
