Vagdevi Vilas School celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with great enthusiasm and vigour.  The day’s celebration began with a spectacular band show and a procession as they welcomed the Chief Guest Shri M A Subramanya, Founder, Kannada Sahithya Prakashana along with the Chairman Vagdevi Vilas Institutions, Shri K Harish.

The flag hoisting and the Naada Geethe were followed by various cultural performances by the students from across the levels. A variety of dances, songs, speeches and skit performances depicting the rich cultural heritage of Karnataka were absolutely amazing and colourful. The Chief Guest in his address emphasised on the importance of one’s state, its culture and its language. The Chairman in his address expressed the beauty of Karnataka and beauty of Kannada as a language. It instilled a sense of love and pride in each and every one.

It was indeed a spectacular event leaving everyone with a sense of pride and fulfilment.
