World Environment Day is celebrated on the 5th of June to encourage awareness of environmental conservation. It is an important global event, the United Nations front-end program, to raise awareness of human interference in the environment. Vagdevi Vilas School, Marathahalli celebrated Environment Day with great enthusiasm. The students put up various performances which emphasized the theme of Environment Day 2022, ‘Only One Earth’ effectively.
The plethora of nature-themed programs started with singing performances, dance, mime show, street plays, all highlighting the importance of conserving and protecting our environment. The students gave high-end performances to usher in the spirit of nature conservation.
The session concluded with address by the principal, who encouraged the students to be the ambassadors towards conserving our environment.
